Patented K9Grass Flushing System
The patented K9Grass® Flushing System by ForeverLawn® is recommended for typical indoor installation of K9Grass. The system moves water and/or cleaning solution across the sloped floor beneath the K9Grass.
This dilutes and rinses urine to the drain. The system is designed to flush the floor periodically, without wetting the surface of the grass. Options include a manual system (basic option), semi-automated valve system, or fully automated control panel system. The surface of the K9Grass can then be maintained in the off hours
1) K9Grass® by ForeverLawn®: The synthetic grass designed specifically for dogs.
2) Proprietary AirGrid lifter system reduces contact with the floor to less than 3%. Detailed specs available upon request.
3) There are four flushing system options to choose from: a Manual Flushing System
A)water hose and flushing system port (each with quick connects) is manually connected and run for each zone.
B) Semi-Automated Flushing System - Charged water line with pipe and controlled by a valve to each flushing system zone.
C) Fully Automated Flushing System - Charged water line is directly connected to each flushing system zone (cannot be seen in picture) and is programmed into a sprinkler system control panel.
D) Push Button Flush - The press of a button invokes flushing system (not shown in picture).
4) Smooth, sloped, and sealed impermeable floor with minimum 2.0% pitch toward the drain.
5) Plastic nailer board. Typically 5/4” x 2-1/2” anchored to solid surface.
6) Trench drain (preferred) to receive the liquid waste and transport it out of the facility.
7)Tack and cover strips to secure and protect K9Grass.
8) Pipe with emitter holes that the water will flow through to rinse/flush the floor.
9) Water and/or solution (dilutes urine on the floor and moves it to the drain).
10) Impermeable wall 36”- 48” from floor. 11 Adjacent walking surface.
